SERI aims to create a world of electronics sustainability, and making a difference is a group effort.

Throughout history, time and again we’ve seen the power of leaders coming together to create positive change in the world. And we understand the power of positive storytelling to amplify that change. That is why we believe it is important to highlight the efforts of those organizations contributing toward making electronics sustainable to spark hope, inspiration, and maybe even some new collaboration.

With this in mind, SERI created the Champions Program as a way to recognize the organizations and their efforts as fellow Champions of Electronics Sustainability.

There are three ways we recognize SERI Champions based on the work they do to promote electronics sustainability.

PROMOTERS

Leaders lead through action and we recognize organizations for their voluntary efforts to further electronics sustainability. This could be writing R2 Certification into vendor requirements and RFPs, or it could be through initiatives completely independent of SERI. Each Promoter has their own story, and we hope they will spark inspiration for others to follow.

COLLABORATORS

SERI works toward electronics sustainability through a variety of programs, from creating standards to expanding capacity to education and skill building. But we believe that what we can accomplish in collaboration is exponentially more powerful than any of us can alone, so we invite other like-minded organizations to participate in a range of active SERI Programs and projects. And sometimes, organizations come to us with needs or ideas that we can help turn into action. Collaborators are these organizations who contribute their time and talent to producing positive outcomes in collaboration with SERI on the journey to electronics sustainability.

SUPPORTERS

Supporters are SERI Champions who make significant financial contributions toward SERI’s mission, directly enabling the development, implementation, and continuation of SERI programs. These charitable contributions fuel greater opportunity to accelerate change toward a more sustainable future, for all.
