WE’RE WORKING TOWARD ZERO E-WASTE AND TRUE ELECTRONICS SUSTAINABILITY
AND WE’LL ONLY GET THERE WITH SUPPORT FROM STAKEHOLDERS OF EVERY KIND, IN EVERY CORNER OF THE WORLD.
SERI considers itself a catalyst in the drive to sustainability, and for us, that means bringing together various members of the electronics industry and community to create action. We believe that the journey to sustainability requires improving knowledge, recognizing good practices, and building capacity for responsible reuse and recycling, everywhere around the world. And that’s why we built SERI Programs – to be a powerful mechanism for various stakeholders to share and support, push and challenge, and question and reimagine toward a future where we protect people and the planet, and enrich lives.
DESIGNED FOR ACTION AND IMPACT
There are plenty of other purposeful organizations out there that are studying the problem of e-waste. But SERI’s work is aimed to actively create change and to make positive impacts around the globe by creating green jobs, increasing public and environmental health, expanding digital inclusion, and building safe workplaces and a sustainable planet.
While an important goal on its own, SERI understands that reaching full circular economy for electronics is not enough if it is not done with sustainable practices. Therefore, we align our impacts with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (sdgs.un.org/goals).

WIDE RANGING, WITH CLEARLY DEFINED OBJECTIVES
SERI understands that electronics sustainability is a global challenge that requires a global response. While SERI Programs are intentionally diverse and far reaching, all are also focused to meet at least one (and many times more) of the following objectives:

ALL OF US, DOING OUR PART TOWARD A FULL CIRCULAR ECONOMY
We’re always open to conversations about new opportunities that align with our mission and invite others to join us in our quest for true electronics sustainability, whether through one of our currently constructed programs, or through a new endeavor.
