Training on the new R2v3 Standard will be offered at the upcoming E-Scrap Conference as a Pre-Conference Workshop on Monday, September 22. The training will be divided into two 60-minute sessions. The first session will cover the new structure of R2v3, Core Requirements and the new R2 Equipment Categorization (REC) document. The second session will cover the Process Requirements that apply only to facilities that engage in more specialized processes.
Although the final version of R2v3 is not expected to be released until later in 2019, this training will cover the new structure of the Standard and the majority of requirements that are anticipated to remain essentially the same as what was proposed in the R2v3 draft released in April. Sections of the new R2v3 standard that are still under consideration at the time will be noted as such during the training.
