From the R2 Update Newsletter
R2 Certified recyclers with multiple facilities will soon have the option of receiving consolidated R2 license agreements and invoices. Previously, each R2 facility required a separate license agreement and invoice. This service will be rolling out over the next month.
Some key points regarding the new consolidated licensing and invoicing service:
- This service is optional, and is designed to simplify the licensing and renewal process for companies operating multiple R2 Certified sites. It is not required, and any recycler can continue to receive individual license agreements and invoices for each facility if they choose.
- Companies opting for this service must designate a single point of contact responsible for signing the consolidated agreement and paying the invoice.
- Each R2 facility still requires proof of a valid licensing agreement with SERI. Each designated R2 facility management representative will receive a copy of their facility's license acknowledgement receipt.
Consolidated license agreements and invoicing will be enabled by default (unless otherwise directed) for all companies operating six or more R2 facilities. If your company operates fewer than six R2 facilities and would like to enable consolidated license agreements and invoices, please contact Henry@SustainableElectronics.org.
