Pack your bags for…Minnesota!

SERI is excited to announce that eSummit 2025 will be held September 8-11 in Minneapolis at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, the Depot! It’s a great city and really neat space for year 2 of the eSummit. Mark your calendars and save the date!

New structure, new ticket passes…

After a successful inaugural 2024 event last October in Austin, we’re changing up a few things to make 2025 even better.

New Structure

Monday, September 8th – We’ll once again have some pre-summit industry meetings (and maybe a few surprises we’re still working on) so plan to arrive Monday and later enjoy a cocktail and some good company at our evening welcome reception. Connect with old friends and make new connections from across the electronics value chain and be well rested for the official eSummit kickoff early Tuesday morning.

Tuesday, September 9th – We’ll start early with an all-new Expo + Day. Designed around the eSummit Expo as the hub of activity, this first full day is built with solving the challenges of today as the focus. A full day within the Expo plus breakout content, demos on the Innovation Stage, and the always-fun Repair Off, it’s a great day to find new partners and solutions, hear from experts on the latest topics in electronics repair, reuse and recycling, and see product and other demonstrations.

Wednesday, September 10th – Is Fast Forward Day where we look forward toward accelerating the transition to sustainability. A full day of strategic main stage content around sustainable design, trends, challenges, and new ideas, you’ll hear about what’s next from thought leaders on the topics that will drive electronics forward as we build a full circular economy. Breaks in the Expo and another great networking reception round out the day.

Thursday, September 11th – new for 2025 is a half-day of collaboration in what we’re calling Forward Together day. This decidedly “unconference day” heads back to the mainstage but this time, attendees discuss and brainstorm in cross-functional groups to workshop some of the challenges that require strong multistakeholder collaboration.

New Expo + One-Day Pass

In addition to the all-access pass, this year we’re adding a limited number of one-day expo + passes to the mix. For the members of your team who are responsible for solving the day-to-day operational challenges of getting work done and bringing in more customers, this pass gives focused access to all Tuesday content and the Expo, plus the Monday night reception.

More details on all this plus mobile repair day, partner events, exhibit and sponsorship opportunities, and registration coming soon. In the meantime, check out the newly relaunched eSummit website for more information.

In other big news, a very special thank you to Sarah Kim

After 15 years of running ERC and playing an instrumental role in the transition to the eSummit, Sarah Kim is leaving the eSummit team.

A note from Sarah: Over the last 15 years, I have had the privilege to host our industry in what started as the International Computer Refurbisher Summit, which grew into the Electronics Reuse Conference, and evolved last year into the Electronics Sustainability Summit. I am so proud of all the hard work that went into running these events over the years. Upon reflection, it is personally rewarding to have watched the industry’s growth, the connections we forged, the laughter we shared, and the amazing individuals we honored for their remarkable contributions, I will cherish these memories. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make the vision a reality.

Starting in 2025, I am officially handing the torch to SERI to continue the tradition. I wish for everyone continued growth in our community, laughs and friendship, and success through a strong network. I look forward to the next chapter of my career and hope our paths cross again. Cheers to you all.

– Sarah Kim, E-Reuse Services

From SERI: The E-Reuse Conference has been a cornerstone of the repair and reuse movement for 15 years. Sarah Kim’s energy and passion for reuse has driven the growth of this community. SERI is excited to take it forward into an event for the entire electronics value chain. It is with great pride that SERI will continue to build upon the tradition of the ERC through the eSummit, maintaining the spirit of the past and expanding this community into the future. We thank Sarah for her guidance through a very successful transition to the eSummit and are excited for the positive impact she’ll continue to have in this industry.
