As the world’s most widely adopted standard for responsible practices for used electronics, R2 is a SERI Program that provides strong guidance for making
complex decisions of “what, how, and who” in electronics testing, repair, reuse, and recycling.
R2 Certification is voluntary, and is currently adopted by more than 1,000 facilities in 38 countries around the world.

SHARING KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE TO INCREASE THE
CAPACITY FOR RESPONSIBLE REUSE AND RECYCLING
Tapping into SERI’s growing global network of R2 Certified facilities, the SERI R2 Mentor program is designed to pair leading R2 Certified organizations with
non-R2 certified facilities to share knowledge and expertise to teach others the good practices to safely and sustainably reuse and recycle electronics.
R2 Mentors volunteer their time, resources and expertise to help create a better world, outside of their own businesses. Ultimately, the R2 Mentor program is designed to substantially increase awareness, adherence, and capacity for a sustainable circular economy to meet the growing demands of electronics consumption throughout the world.
