When downstream vendors lose their R2 Certification

Q:   What happens if a downstream vendor qualified under Appendix A (7) loses their R2 Certification?

If the R2 Certification status for a downstream vendor changes or is no longer active, the facility must be treated as a non-R2 facility and verified in accordance with the non-R2 vendor requirements under Appendix A (8).

Any changes in the R2 Facility’s certification status are indicated in the R2 Certified Facility Directory  and will be noted as either Suspended, Revoked, Expired, Discontinued, Closed, or Moved.
