SERI’s Executive Director, Corey Dehmey, recently spoke at the Reverse Logistics Association – European Summit in Amsterdam. Dehmey moderated a panel discussion on the differences between used electronics vs. waste and how those differences can impact returns, warranty replacements, and trade-in channels. Participating on the panel were representatives from four R2 Certified companies, including Jelle Slenters (SIMS Recycling Solutions); Tom Delahunty (Wisetek Solutions); Gary Griffiths (Arrow Electronics); and Gordon Cripps (TES-AMM (Europe) Ltd).
SERI also conducted an R2 Workshop at the RLA Summit to discuss how R2 Certified vendors fit into the Reverse Logistics model for test and repair of returned electronics. SERI will continue its outreach to the Reverse Logistics community and by participating in the Consumer Returns Conference on October 21 in Austin, Texas.
